Reliance Jio is launching Jio Home TV service
Reliance Jio is now ready to knock even in the television market after making its penetration in the telecom and mobile markets. While still providing mobile channels and content to the mobile users, through the 'My Geo App', the company will soon be launching its new service 'Geo Home TV'. Reliance Jio can start its new service in the month of May and before the launch of this service, plans and packs of live home TVs have also come in handy. Geo will give an opportunity to watch HD channels in SD and 400 rupees for only 200 rupees. According to the information received, Reliance Geo is completing the test of its new service 'Geo Home TV', and this service will be rollout all over India in May. Keep in mind that Zee will not be the DTH service of the Home TV Service Company and the benefit can be raised only on the number of Reliance Jio. Under this new service, Live will provide a lot of Standard Deaf Nation i.e. SD Channels at a price of 200 rupees and will get an opportunity to view SD + HD channels at Rs. 400.
For Reliance Jio's home TV service, data pack will not be necessary in the phone. The company will also make its service available without any internet connection. HD channels can only be picked up by Zero for buying a home TV service pack. This service, issued on Geo No., will be connected to Smart TVs available in the home of Mira Cost or WiFi, and HD Channels will also be enjoyed on the big screens of the TV. Regarding the Live TV service, however, it is not clear what method the company will bring its new service to its users. But in some reports, it has come to the fore that live TV service will run on EMBMS i.e. Enhanced Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service. Reliance Jio numbers, which are being used in LTE devices, will be able to avail of this new company service.
It is difficult to say though, that in the plan of Rs 200 or Rs 400, only live home TV service packs will be available or there will be data packs and voice calling facility, and this service can be found in any common 4G mobile phone. Like the Geophie, the company will offer a separate device. It is hoped that in the coming days, Jio will take the curtains of this new service.
